Blessed are we to be touched by a pristine spirit

Under the clothes or beneath the skin

A Goddess figure and deity-muse of wordsmiths

She’s she, a fierce lioness with a tender heart

Sharp deft brain with a delicate touch

Sporadic gallant coquette with infant’s innocence

Swinging, seized on that beautiful face

Clever but non-cunning, an aberrant maverick

As she unfurls her hair to let breathe the ambience she suffuses

Smoothly in her every polished word, so polite

But offers no impunity for who’s rude and ruses

Sends “loads of love” for men and women she loves, with delight
Slides over the surface as fish in the sea

Runs with grace as a deer in wilderness

Aims with eagle eyes, with flight of a dove

Mother muse of beauty and love

Filling spots of malice and dire with benevolence

Transforming stones into soft white pillows

Lively brown iris of lovely eyes and

As exuberant as the skies, the magic of her smile

And the inexplicable shine of her grin

When those light swarthy cheeks swell

And widened lips inviting for a cozy kiss

Whispers of kisses still echo in my memories

The rushes of her caress, she was a luxury
An adept mother, with jokey nurture

Forting her two gems with her warm arms

Singing my melodies as lullabies

To put those monsters to sweet dreams of her euphonies

Reading them her self-scripted stories

Of love, friendship, kindness and honesty

Laggard chase all around for every next bite

When indisposed, we skip sleep for night

That wrinkled forehead when wounded they came home

And a surprise for their every failure and every victory
“God shall never give a mother in her to none but us”
“God shall never give a daughter in her to none but me”

Was the benison her father pleaded in last writs
“God shall never give a companion in her to none but me”

“A soul who loved, lived and enlivened other souls” I wrote on her epitaph

I’m fire, a poet and I
found my gasoline; my muse.
She appeared in black and white
With a smile and a charming phrase on her tongue
Doused in infectious liveliness
For it tempted my lips to widen
In the design of a smile, the only
reciprocation to her presence.
Listen, excitement and enxiety, I feel
When I envision the rendezvou
Hence, I often blush and rarely shiver in rush
But only joy runs in my veins
And captures me in its essence
When she sits near me and we exchange
Words and familiarising with the being
That resides within us. And the beauty
That burns is when we converse on pages
For fetters of shyness break in that version of me.
The prints left by those words lasts
Longer than those scripted by tongue
But the bliss of staring in her black eyes
Settles deeper through my ears than eyes
For the euphonic voice delivered by her
Heart through her long neck is sweeter
Than the Whispers written by her hands
That by touch feel tender but not fragile.

She asks how do I know of her benevolent spirit.
Oh my Muse of Beauty, more than you revealed
I’ve read in you and scripted on you.
Never question or doubt the genuinity
Of those metaphors, look closely
And you’ll find their pristine truth
In every verse of my every poem.
Attire that your soul wears, tempts
The poet in me at every wonderful meet
Hence, I’m speechless, for every word spoken
Will expose the demon who’s a big fool
With a hint of mischief, whose attempts
To flattery can be creepy and his
Verses filled talks might confuse you
For all he aspires is to admire
And show you to you through his eyes.
And if you ask how does he see you,
Re-read this hymn, oh Beauty!
And rest every poem I’d penned.

I stood boiling from waiting for hours

Bitter words, on my tongue sat

To throw at you at your first sight

But the cuteness with which you mix

The harmony of your sorry, all bitterness

On my tongue and mind vanished.

Second time, I saw that smile of yours

And I couldn`t bear the thought of being the reason

For snatching it from your claret lips.

For the weight of joy I earned in your laugh

Was much heavier that the satisfaction

Of blurting out bitterness that was already nulled

At the very taste of the sweet life you offered

Just by the very sight of your beautiful light.

And third time I knew with absolute certainty

I`d melt by your warm embrace and henceforth

I spent time imagining the moments of bliss

That were lined to happen and when

You held me as I wept, shared my fears and sorrow

Was the evening I vowed that until the day without tomorrow

I`d share your delight and despair.

From that evening we grew and moulded

Into something deeper than love

For love was never so perfect.

You dance surrounded by life and I

Stood so far and deep in nothingness

Where the echo of my steps

Deafened my ears and with its ugliness

Blinded me temporarily when

The dark skies swallowed the sun

And tears of misery birthed a flood

In the middle of that barrenland.

But a breath of relief, I was offered

With the faintest voice of your laughter

And a lone tulip blossomed

From the surface of that black desert.

I began to crawl as hope,

With a fragrance, lingers in

Some corner of my heart, that

I stumble in your arms at the blindspot

Which lies in the shadow of the fence

Of the garden, where exists existence

Where fields of flowers allures noses

With a seducing smell and colours of

Mortality and a spirit in those green aisles

Fetches for itself, a feeling of freedom,

A breeze of bliss and a rush in spine

For quivers to rule the body.

I seek forgiveness for I strayed

In my journey to attain glory.

But I ignored the biggest blessing; your love

And thus in that one step I lay

Distance of oceans between us.

With the thought of breathing cities apart

The blood in my veins rushes with anxiety

And my weak stupid heart sinks

When I look at the distance that lay between

And I wonder if the thread that’s been overstretched

To keep you tied to me in this knot of togetherness

Stenched by love that surpasses society’s grasp

Of the philosophy of friendship and the platonian touch

Of a spirit and its print on another like on mine

By yours and the lit vision it offers in my shadow days.

The benevolence you show in my grey madness,

The warmth with which you handle my cold words

And occasional scolding to push me back in my sanity.

I only hope to be yours what you are to me.

Oh beautiful friend, sitting miles away

Yet you’re stuck in my mind

Like an addictive song.

Let my words touch your soul

To let you know I won’t disappear on you.

I’ve had plans now for quite sometime

Just waiting for this time when I’m free

Of all shackles and fetters that hold my wings

And not let me fly into the winds.

I desire to offer you my real face

Do not be scared or panic

You might not find me much sane

Might see my time spent in vain

But look beyond like I try to see in you.

Will you trust and follow me into the woods?

I promise, you won’t be hurt for I’ll be there

At every step and every corner of that path with you.

Will you offer me a closer look into you when arrives

The stage in this ship’s voyage?

I am and I shall in our first rendezvous

Without smoke, alcohol, pen and poetry.

Just you; my friend and me; your friend.

Oh friend, today I feel fine

Hearing that sweet voice of yours

Giving a joy only you can give
Oh friend, today I feel fine

Sharing my time with yours

Stealing a feeling only you give
Oh friend, today I feel fine

And when you need me, I’m yours

For as long as I shall live

There might be a day named someday when the poet in me will embrace death or I will toss him in the pit of termination, would you still see me as you do today? Will I possess the same space in your heart on that lovely yet ugly day? Would your heart be just as close as is now? When those profound lines are lost from my tongue, would the love to my name still be under my name? On that someday, would I be more beautiful or uglier? Don’t say “the same”, for a change shall always bring along a change. So whisper only the truth for I desire nothing else. Let it be sweet or bitter but let it be truth. Let me give an example – “I`d offer my heart, literally, to keep you breathing. They say oxygen is the only need, rest all is want. Yes, I need oxygen to breathe but I need you to give meaning to my breaths. And my prayer to your God, if he`ll listen is – in this or next life, let there bloom a love, unforbidden and yet as perfect as us.” So deliver the truth I request, without the worries of tomorrow because like every yesterday since I`ve known you and every today I`ll love you endlessly and boundlessly. Knowing your bare soul, let me remind the question you`ve forgotten – on that lovely yet ugly someday, would I be more beautiful or uglier and if your pristine soul has another answer, smear it on my ears.

let my poesy moulder in its thrist
for eyes to recognize the beauty
it captures and displays
but let me be their in your memory
till your final breath, felicity.
remember the verses i composed
with you as my muse for only
you were the true who filled my gaps
and my lips will always carry a smile
sorrow sprinkled or of absolute joy
when i think how you caught my teardrops
and when just a brief walk with you
helped me sleep in peace at night
they might remember only my lunacy
and demonic dreams of dire darkness
but you remember my serinity,
my blissful dawns and delightful vespers
they might grasp only my blasphemy
but you remember my heart’s immaculacy,
the loveliness of the gentleman in me
and liveliness of the child in me.

remember the drunken amble to my bed from yours
remember the delicious delicacies we tried together
and tied our hearts at lanes we explored
and wandered with laughter under an angry sun
let them live their illusion of my reflection
but for you i’ve left behind my shadow
in those letters and verses under your name
for with you, all i needed was what i already had.

I know whose spells you`re under

And how you`re trapped in perplexity

Between your confession or burying under

The secret whispers of your heart

But can I steal your thoughts?

Do I, sometimes? Can I leave behind

A trace of verses for you to follow

Into a dimly lit chamber of my heart

Where rests a mirror for you to see

You like I see you, in all glory of grace?

In your eyes I see, seraphic niceness lingers

And how your thought teases my mind

I shiver from spine to brain to my fingers.

Let me steal a moment with this understatement;

You are the finest shade of beauty.
